House Cleaning Quote

Moving can be a stressful time, and the last thing you want to worry about on top of packing and scheduling is cleaning! We work closely with moving companies and your relocating schedule to ensure that the work that needs to be done in your home is completed in a timely and affordable manner.

How long will it take to clean my house?

Every home is different, and every home needs different chores done at different times to get up to our high standards of cleanliness. First time cleans can take a little longer than regular cleans, homes with pets can also take a little longer, but every client gets a walk through on their first appointment for a thorough assessment and estimate. Move-in/Move-out cleans where the house is completely empty of furniture and belongings take less time than full house cleanings which include dusting and the cleaning of furniture.

Will you use my cleaning supplies or yours?

It’s up to you! We are fully equipped with the right cleaning tools and chemicals for your home, but we can also use whatever tools you provide us with upon request. Maid For Portland uses environmentally and pet friendly chemicals to ensure the safety of our workers, your families, and the environment.

What should I do to prepare for the cleaners?

You can do as much or as little as you like. It all depends on how much time you have and how much time you want to save on our cleaning services. Having the dishes done and personal items picked up off of the floors always saves the cleaners time but any chores you don’t want to do/don’t have time to take care of is what we are here for!

Do I have to be home/available?

No, you do not have to be. Our integrity and respect for our clients and their homes are our highest priority at Maid For Portland, so whether you are home or at work, the level of service we provide will not differ.

Once I have filled out a checklist, can I change it?

Absolutely! You can change your checklist as often as you need by contacting our customer service department or leaving a note for the cleaning crew (changing your chore checklist may affect the time spent in your house).
